Jeremy Rodden

I am an overeducated stay-at-home dad to three wonderful sons. I have a BA in Religion and English Writing and an MA in Education. I worked briefly as a high school English teacher before we opted to keep me home when my second son was born in 2010. As a writer, I consider C.S. Lewis, Lewis Carroll, Douglas Adams, and Neil Gaiman my strongest influences. I enjoy multi-layered plots, clever wordplay, and bad jokes.

Share:FacebookTwitteremailTumblrPinterestThis week on Toonopolis, The Blog, I’m reviewing another Cartoon Network original show.  Today’s Saturday Morning Cartoon Review is Regular Show. Much like Adventure Time (SMCR Here), I had very low expectations of Regular Show.  The commercials leading up to the launch of the show did not appeal to me.  A lot of it seemed …

Hurricane Irene from Chesapeake, VA

Share:FacebookTwitteremailTumblrPinterestFigured I’d throw up a quick post here for those that haven’t been following me on Twitter or Facebook.  Being my first hurricane since I moved south from Philadelphia down to Chesapeake (close to the VA/NC border on the east coast), I started a video chronicle of how the hurricane was affecting us, especially since …
