What Is Toonopolis Fighting World?
If you are familiar with an e-federation, or e-wrestling, then you know what the TFW is already. It is simply an e-fed on the basis of fighting toons, not wrestlers. For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, I'll give a quick synopsis of how things work: You create a toon, you write roleplays with your toon when you are placed in a fight against another one, the toon-master (me) decides who deserves to be the winners on certain criteria, fights are written by fight-writers, a show is put together and everyone has fun and cheers. (yay)

Can I Create Any Toon I Want?
Any and all rules about the toons you create are covered on the application page.

Is There A Limit To How Many Toons I Can Have?
Well, the way I see it... if you have too many characters that you handle, then you aren't focusing enough on them and they won't be too great. Therefore, there is a limit of two per creator. Even with this limit, I may ask that you get rid of one of the two, or not accept your second, if I don't think that you're doing too great with them. You may have as many secondary (non-fighting) characters as you wish to create however.

What's With The Waiting List?
I wish I could have an infinite amount of toons on the roster but that is not feasible at all, unless some toons get months off at a time in order to allow everyone to get a chance at being on the shows. The waiting list is very simple - I add new toons to the waiting list after the roster is full at forty toons. They will be added to the actual roster when spots open or if they are deemed super great enough to bypass the forty toon limit. Any current creator that already has a toon in the league will have a second application automatically put on the waiting list until I see that they can handle both toons to the effect that it would be worth giving one person two places on the roster.

How Do I Write A Roleplay?
Hey, it's plain and simple. You head on over to Toon Television, you write up your story or whatnot (called roleplays in e-wrestling) and you post it. Feel free to read past roleplays to get an idea of how to do so. You battle back and forth with your opponent and in the end... one of you will win. It should all be done in good fun, so if things get out of hand... they's gonna be some trouble in Toon Town. (sorry, wrong thing... that's from Who Framed Roger Rabbit?)

What Type Of Limits Do You Have To Roleplaying?
I feel that if you do not get your point across within three roleplays then you aren't deserving of winning a match. Therefore, Toonopolis Fighting World has a strict three-roleplay limit per fight. If you go over this limit for your fight, I will not even read any past the third and only those first three will be counted for your match. There is, however, no limit to how much work you send in to be placed on the Saturday Morning episodes.

If you are in a fight with a partner or partners, you are granted an additional two roleplays per fight per team on top of the three roleplays for each individual toon in the fight.

About the actual content of the roleplays, there are virtually no limits. Swearing is allowed, but to an extent... bear in mind that some children can and may read the content of this site. Other than that, there's really no limits... in a cartoon world, things that would be impossible in the real world are commonplace here.

An additional limit as far as roleplaying goes regards which characters you can use in them. Do NOT... DO NOT use another creator's toon without their permission. I can't stress how much I dislike it when someone uses another's creation without asking them first. After permission though, feel free to have fun.

Can I Get Fired?
Well... yes. With the advent of the waiting list, I can't afford to keep creators around that aren't pulling their fair share of work along with the rest of us. If you fail to roleplay for a fight without giving me some sort of reason why - you will get one more chance. Two consecutive no-shows will result in your toon being removed from the roster. It may sound mean, but unfortunately - I can't keep dead weight around when there are others waiting to play with those of us that do work. If the reason you failed to roleplay for two straight fights was an emergency, don't worry - just explain that to me and your toon will be reinstated.

How Do I Know The Fight-Writers Will Know How To Use My Toon?
Make sure you send those fight instructions things in, although they are optional. These are the instructions you will give to your fight-writer. If you want your toon to act like you want him to in the fighting arena, you better send this in... if you don't, the fight-writer has free reign with the toon and can have as much fun as he or she wants to, regardless of whether or not you want your toon to do something. Use the form under Television to send your instructions.

How Do I Win?
The TFW uses a system borrowed from an e-wrestling federation called National Pro Wrestling (http://www.npwrestling.cjb.net) for picking winners in Saturday Morning fights. This system employs the creators who are participating in each episode as voters. Five voters are typically called upon for each fight including the fight-writer and the fed owner. The rest are selected randomly so that each voter is not overburdened with more than two or three fights to vote on. The voters are then asked to distribute ten points between the two fighters and the votes are added and *voila* a winner is given. In special matches aside from one on ones, special voting styles will be applied when needed but all will be some derivation from this type of system.

In After School Special fights, the fed owner will decide winners outright.

What Are The Championship Belts In TFW?
Toonopolis Fighting World will recognize different championships at different times for different reasons. Check the Championships section under History for explanations of the titles, stipulations surrounding them, and previous champions.

How Do The Shows Work?
Toonopolis Fighting World holds two shows. While most federations have shows specifically on a Saturday, Wednesday, etc... Toonopolis doesn't work on such a strict system of time. Days of the week don't exist in Toonopolis, only in the real world. While the main show is called Saturday Morning, every day is Saturday Morning in Toonopolis. The shows are called episodes and when they are scheduled, will be given a line-up, and roleplaying will continue until the show is released. This is normally a two-week process, but things could arise that would grant a longer period of time in between a line-up being released and the episode being released. In general, the Saturday Morning shows are released every two weeks. Sorry, when Kid Gemini traveled to the Tooniverse, he lost all concept of time.

A second show has been added to the format. After School Special will be aired every week. This show works differently than Saturday Morning though, as it does not involve the writing of fights or interviews. This show is just a supplement to the main show and is for nothing but getting fights under a toons belts, not character development. The show will be nothing but bulletted results, so no fight instructions are required and only roleplaying factors in the winners. This show will take place once every week, so there will be a deadline for roleplaying - the night before the show is supposed to be out. All character development will take place on Saturday Morning, as per usual.

Movies will be used at the end of each season to serve as a culmination of the major storyline of that season. Each season consists of thirteen episodes.

What Type Of Rankings System Is Used?
TFW uses the same rankings system that I helped develop around January of 1999. It is fair and unbiased. Check the rankings page for more details.

That's All Folks
Other than that, any other details about TFW will be learned as they go along. E-mail the creator any time you want for questions, he's always willing to answer.
