Description: Atara is of average height and weight. Blonde hair, about shoulder length, hangs down in front of pink-ish eyes. She wears rather revealing clothing, but usually wears a body-length cloak over it, unless in battle. Her voice is soft and enchanting, though because of certain circumstances, she rarely uses it. She has a circular red tattoo on her right arm, but isn't sure why it's there.

Attitude: When in the company of people she doesn't know, she tends to remove herself from attention. She doesn't show much emotion; a faint smile here, and a slight frown there. Even when fighting, Atara seems as though her mind is elsewhere, even while she is paying full attention.

Weaknesses: She's Mute, her light frame is easily thrown around by larger people.

Origin: Ever since she was a young girl, Atara Ruhe had been a dreamer. Her main dream was family. She always wanted to find the right person for her, and raise a family, so she could surround herself with people that she cared about, and who cared about her.
She lived in a small town, and when she became of age, she started studies as an apprentice to the High Priest in their town's temple. The Priest, Arcades, was charged with preaching to the people, as well as peacekeeping. The area in which Atara lived wasn't one of good fortune. Ill intent was like a plague.
Studying in the temple exposed Atara to the bad side of her people, and she decided that she would do everything she could to change their ways. Arcades agreed with her, and the two of them set out as missionaries. They spread the teachings of their faith, and met with moderate success. That is, until they reached Tareff.
Tareff, the largest town in the kingdom, was run by the High Priest of its temple. The town was in ruin when Atara and her master reached it, and they sought the High Priest for an explanation. After finding out that it was his doing, they felt responsible to the town, and decided it to be their duty to purge the evil from its temple.
However, they were not strong enough.
The High Priest cursed both Atara and Arcades. Knowing that Arcades had great power, the Priest of Tareff turned him into a small cat, so that he could not make use of his magic. He didn't see Atara as a bigger threat. Through his magic, he was able to discover what Atara wanted most in life, and decided to make it impossible. He enchanted her so that her words would from that day on bring only destruction.
As a final measure, he banished the two from that plane of existence, sending them as far away as possible. He didn't know where that would be, and coincidence allowed that place to be Toonopolis. Atara soon discovered that her power as a priestess had been removed, replaced with a vast library of destructive magic. She also discovered that whenever she tried to talk, the incantation of one of her destructive spells was all that was heard.
For some reason, Atara and Arcades have a complete understanding for each other, even though Atara is essentially a mute, and Arcades is... well... a cat. The two now work together to try and find a way out of this strange place they're in, while trying to find a way to break their curse.
